Founded and directed by Michael Gallagher, we are dedicated to ensuring every Deaf and hard-of-hearing person in America has full freedom and equal opportunities. We fight against silent discrimination in healthcare, employment, education, and everyday life through advocacy, education, and direct support.
You can make a difference by donating to fund our movements, lobbying, research and resources, relations with advocates, government, education, corporates, schools and universities. You can also volunteer, learn American Sign Language, and spread awareness about the challenges Deaf Americans face.
